Rima Adiati graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master`s degree in Engineering Physics from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS) with a focus on Instrumentation and Photonics Engineering. Her research includes optical fiber sensors and optical fiber communication systems mainly Passive Optical Networks (PON) and FTTH. She has experience fabricating various fiber sensors such as temperature, mass, humidity, and strain;  applying them in industry and the medical field. Recently, she embarked on a programming journey and hopes to master various programming languages for physics simulations as well as embedded systems and microcontrollers. She obtained PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming in 2021. In the Department of Physics IPB, she joined a research project, the development of a non-invasive blood glucose measurement device, and several community service projects such as the capacity building of high school teachers.
