Physics Student of FMIPA IPB University Wins Gold Medal at OSN Independence Day 2022
[5 September 2022] Putri Ayu Anandita, an IPB University student from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) succeeded in making an achievement by winning a gold medal at the 2022 National Student Olympiad (OSN) Independence Day. Organized by the Prestige Foundation, the Olympics were held online on 28/8 ago.
Ayu, her nickname, is a student of IPB University batch 58 (2021). Under the guidance of Prof. Tony Sumaryada, a lecturer at IPB University from the Department of Physics, Ayu managed to get the Predicate Grade A+ and managed to win the OSN gold medal for the field of Physics. Of course, this is a very proud achievement for IPB University, especially the Department of Physics, FMIPA.
Currently, Ayu is actively practicing with other IPB University students, to prepare for a bigger national championship in the future, namely the National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Competition (KNMIPA) organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek).
“By preparing as early as possible, and actively participating in other physics olympiad competitions organized by various universities and official institutions, our preparation will become more mature. It will also increase our self-confidence so that we hope to be able to achieve maximum achievement in KNMIPA later, “explained Ayu. (IAAS/ASJ)
